We celebrated the skills, products and crafts by 25 special people at an exhibition on August 4, 2023 at Efua Sutherland Children's Park, Accra.

“Ability Unchained” is a FREE exhibition of skills, products and crafts focussed on the celebration of youth with Special Needs or challenges who have acquired skills which can make them employable or self-employed persons. It was a platform to showcase their products which are outcomes of their acquired skills. Participation at the Exhibition will assisted the participants in linking them up with mentors,buyers of their products and possible employers who were in attendance among the invitees and general public.
Exhibition Categories of the participants include among others:

  • Arts/Crafts
  • Food & Beverages
  • Fashion/Illustration
  • Writing/Music
  • Animation
  • Photography
  • Jewellery making/Accessories
  • ICT
  • Furnishing/Interior Decoration
  • Hairdressing

The event also featured short talks, individual consultations.

Our goal is to help families and schools to better understand their wards’ conditions and provide the right support necessary for the development of skills that can make them have a fulfilled life.
